Qi Gong for Health & Wellness

Qi is the essence of life. Qi is the energy that circulates throughout the body, flowing in every tissue and organ, and actively stimulates physiological activities. Qi Gong is a form of exercise that has been practiced for thousands of years as ways to cultivate Qi, strengthen the body, balance the emotions and nourish the spirit.

Class Series 1 – Qi Flow Sheng Zhen Gong

Sheng Zhen Gong’s meditative and energizing movements and breathing aim to smooth the body’s meridians, enhance Qi flow, oxygenate the body’s organs and all tissues, balance the emotions and nourish the heart. These classes will help you to gain a deep sense of physical balance, inner calmness and mental clarity.

Qi Gong classes can be effective and beneficial for everyone from the beginners to experienced practitioners.

Class Series 2 – Qi Gong for Spinal Health

July 14, 19, & 21 from 1:30-3:30 PM

$35 Three Classes  |  $15 One Class

Qi Gong can be a valuable contributor to multiple dimensions of personal health care including illness prevention, health improvement, and management of pain and stress. These three classes will focus on various Qi Gong movements designed for spinal health maintenance, including the improvement of spinal ailments, spinal flexibility and strength development.

Anyone interested in prevention and improvement of acute and chronic aches and pains along the spine, including neck pain, upper back and lower back pain, stiffness and limited mobility of the back, hip stiffness and discomfort, and other ailments in the spinal column.

About Xie Ling Welch

Xie Ling has taught Qi Gong for the last 18 years to students of all ages and all backgrounds. Her passion is to help improve health and wellness by integrating Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) based Qi Gong movements and exercise with a holistic health care approach and an understanding of human anatomy and physiology. Xie Ling studied Chinese medicine and Qi Gong with Professor Zhang Guangde at Beijing University of Physical Education, Professor Ling Housheng from Shanghai Chinese Medicine University, and Qi Gong Master Li Junfeng. She is a certified medical teacher.
